Irrigation basin in Bani Moussi!
Construction of the basin began last June thanks to the generosity of the Students Challenge 2009 participants. Today the construction of the 100m3 basin is complete and functional!
A few words from Carole Montillet...just for you!
Carole MONTILLET, Olympic champion of downhill skiing, appealed to the Students Challenge concept which is both a sportive raid and a sustainable development project, is encouraging you!The women, who succeed so many challenges and shared with us her passion for sport through all her victories, show you the “way” for the Student Challenge 2010 !
A great thanks to this great champion for her encouragements!
Terrain reconnaissance has begun !
Terrain reconnaissance has begun for the course of the 3rd edition of the SC.
The Students Challenge will begin on December 27th in Toulouse, France and will end 9 days later in Ouarzazate, one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco.
In order to carry out the task under the same conditions as the actual rally, terrain reconnaissance was carried out on board an unmodified, unprepared leisure vehicle, this year : a Fiat Palio.

Green Day 2009
Under the United Nations Environmental Programme’s “Plant for the Planet: Billion Tree Campaign”, we provide the participants of the STUDENTS CHALLENGE with a sustainable development project, “Green Day”:
* Planting young date palms
* Ensuring the necessary irrigation by:
- creating a 100 cubic meter water catchment basin
- providing a solar pump
- During “Green Day” the participants of the STUDENTS CHALLENGE, under the direction of the local project leader, will dig holes and plant the young trees. They will then water them for the first time, giving them a head start for survival.
- The organiser of the STUDENTS CHALLENGE is in charge of the project and is contributing to its financing.
- AZEKKA FRANCE-MAROC Association, is managing and coordinating the project. To have more informations, click here
