All members of the organisation and the assistance team will be connected by VHF radio and satellite telephone. The legs of the Raid are neither long nor dangerous.  Excessive consumption of substances likely to impair judgement while driving will be controlled through surveillance and the application of sanctions, as specified in the regulations.  Searches will be carried out during the competition, and any infraction of the rules stipulated in the Sporting Regulations will be sanctioned.  A medical team will be present to ensure prevention and treatment during the Raid.
