It's all about sharing...

Jean-Michel Randriamanandraitsiory (President of the VRALLY 4L association and student at EFREI) had a desire to put together a project involving the Students Challenge, in a spirit of sharing... sharing with a person for whom it would not otherwise be easy to discover the desert and live the adventure!

Maximilian Delle Libera
(student at EFREI) wanted to take part in the Students Challenge Morocco. The two were brought together by this idea.

After a chance meeting with TELETHON, the project materialised with a 7 year old girl suffering from Wilson’s disease: Jade Le Breton. Naturally, her father joined the adventure to take care of his little girl.

And so we have a team composed of 2 adults and a child that will take part in this 2nd edition of the Students Challenge, under the TELETHON 2008 banner. The team, sponsored by VRALLY, will be piloted by Maximilian Delle Libera and Yannick, the father.

Bravo to Jade, Jean-Michel Randriamanandraitsiory, Maximilian Delle Libera & Yannick Le Breton for their commitment!

Green Day 2009

Under the United Nations Environmental Programme’s “Plant for the Planet: Billion Tree Campaign”, we provide the participants of the STUDENTS CHALLENGE with a sustainable development project, “Green Day”:
* Planting young date palms
* Ensuring the necessary irrigation by:
    - creating a 100 cubic meter water catchment basin
    - providing a solar pump

- During “Green Day” the participants of the STUDENTS CHALLENGE, under the direction of the local project leader, will dig holes and plant the young trees. They will then water them for the first time, giving them a head start for survival.

- The organiser of the STUDENTS CHALLENGE is in charge of the project and is contributing to its financing.
- AZEKKA FRANCE-MAROC Association, is managing and coordinating the project. To have more informations, click here
